Company
Profile
Having been pig keepers since 1975 (starting with Gloucester Old Spots) it was decided in 1991 to develop the business to accommodate the need to provide a wide range of rare breed pigs, services, products and advice to the smaller, often inexperienced, pig keeper.
Although having some outside help the farm is run primarily by Tony York who first started keeping pigs and moved to the Welsh Borders in 1975.
Tony spent 20 years as Sales Director with major UK and international companies before realising that there was more to life than the stresses and strains of corporate success with more time spent in hotels than in his own bed.
In 2006 it was decided to relocate both pigs and courses to Wiltshire combining the respective strengths of ‘Piggywigs Farm’ (Carron McCann) and ‘Pig Paradise’ (Tony York) under a joint ‘Pig Perfect’ banner.
Members of the Pig Breeders Association (PBA) and the Rare Breed Survival Trust (RBST) who do so much to help our rare and endangered pig breeds.
The following breeders clubs, societies and individuals also do a great deal of excellent work promoting, supporting and helping save individual breeds.

We are delighted that over the years we have had so many marvellous letters from people who have attended our courses or bought pigs from us.
